Rocket Software has introduced Rocket CorVu NG 3.0, a BI and analytics solution for Rocket UniVerse and Rocket UniData. A highlight of the new release is the CorVu U2 Native Interface that allows the rapid assembly of queries through an intuitive U2-centric UI. The native access to U2 dictionary items enables developers to browse and select from existing field definitions, leverage existing processes and expressions defined in field definitions, and consume existing System Builder or Smart Queries inside CorVu.

Rocket Software has launched a new version of the Rocket D3 database management system - D3 Linux 9.2. This is the first new Rocket D3 product release since the company acquired the TigerLogic MultiValue database business last November. Rocket Software has released SB/XA 6.2.3, which provides new features to enable users to be more productive. In addition, the second phase of the mobile early preview has started. Revelation Software has completely redesigned its website, using the Joomla content management system. "The nice thing is that our O4W and our SQL connector are tightly connected with the Joomla site as well. The underlying database in Joomla is MySQL and, using our SQL Connector, we are able connect to the MySQL database and integrate it into our own OpenInsight database as well," Robert Catalano, director of sales at Revelation Software, explained in an interview.

Rocket Software has announced the availability of System Builder Extensible Architecture (SB/XA) which allows users to rapidly build robust business solutions. By applying SB/XA Designer default styles, users indicate mandatory fields and where intuitive help is available. In addition, Outlook-style menus can be included to create an environment that feels familiar to users. Data can be reported out to Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word or XML formats, giving users access to their data in their preferred business application.
