Veritas Technologies, a provider of enterprise data protection and software-defined storage, is expanding its partnership with Pure Storage to offer collaborative solutions for customers. These solutions provide customers with business continuity for mission critical applications, and storage optimization using Veritas data analytics and long-term retention solutions.
WANdisco, the LiveData company, is releasing the LiveAnalytics platform, ensuring uninterrupted business insights by migrating data from on-premises Hadoop environments into Spark-based analytics in the cloud, such as Databricks. LiveAnalytics allows both migrated and migrating data to be immediately and continuously available for analysis.
Woolpert is launching STREAM:RASTER, a subscription software service that hosts and facilitates access to geospatial imagery in the cloud. Customers can upload raster data to STREAM:RASTER and it creates tile caches of the data that is ready for use in GIS and web mapping software. Customers are then able to manage and control access to their proprietary imagery in STREAM:RASTER, with support and a service level agreement from Woolpert.
