The latest release of Compuware's mainframe application performance measurement and analysis solution offers a new GUI to centralize information about application performance and provides additional advice on how to resolve problems.
The newest generation of IBM's enterprise X-Architecture for System x and PureSystems servers provides improvements for analytics and cloud. The new architecture increases application performance by providing the low system write latency, essential for analytics applications. Memory and storage features also are designed to boost virtual machine capacity to enable SaaS delivery of applications.
Innovation Data Processing, a provider of mainframe tools, has rolled out FDRPASVM Version 5.4 Level 80, which is designed to enable migration of z/VM and Linux for System z volumes.
