SAP SE and Accenture are teaming up to provide inclusive solutions for Business Suite 4 SAP HANA (SAP S/4HANA). This collaboration aims to accelerate development of SAP S/4HANA as well as business solutions, with a view to simplifying and fast-tracking customers' journeys to digital businesses.

CenturyLink is signing a global premium supplier partnership agreement with SAP to offer premium supplier services for SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, providing an avenue to expand the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud offering. Through this agreement, the companies say, CenturyLink's infrastructure and IT services capabilities will help expand the platform and help customers achieve faster time to market for their transformation projects based on the SAP HANA platform.

Rosslyn Analytics Ltd's RAPid Extract Studio 2.0 is now SAP-certified to integrate with the SAP NetWeaver technology platform, providing users a rapid approach to obtain data from SAP software. The pre-built solution integrates with SAP solutions, allowing business and IT teams to cut the time and cost of accessing data for analytics projects by enabling them to start to automatically extract SAP data more quickly, according to Rosslyn Analytics.

Synametrics Technologies, a provider of solutions for IT professionals and computer systems developers, is redesigning its WinSQL platform, offering a simplified environment for exploring data. WinSQL is a generic querying tool that connects to any relational database for which an ODBC driver is available.


Think About It

Database performance tuning is a complex but extremely important task. However, it can be difficult to effectively optimize databases when there are other "fires" to put out, limited resources, and an increasing number of databases to look after. But that doesn't mean it's impossible, especially with the right approach.
