Noetix Celebrates Fifth Consecutive Year of Double-Digit Revenue Growth

Noetix Corp., a software provider that automatically generates business intelligence (BI) content from enterprise applications, recently announced that fiscal 2008 was the company's fifth consecutive year of double-digit revenue growth.  "We are pretty unique in our positioning and that is why even in a down economy such as what we are in now, our value proposition is still ringing very true," David Langston, executive vice president, sales and marketing, Noetix, tells 5 Minute Briefing. "We do something different than virtually any other company in the marketplace and that is focused around generating content for BI tools so it is a different spin than just customers investing in a front-end BI tool."

Noetix announced additional product offerings as well as new versions of software in 2008 to meet customer needs and ongoing BI demands.  Features were added to improve performance, scalability, reliability, and business functionality covering a wide range of products, including NoetixViews 5.8.4 for Oracle E-Business Suite now featuring more than 1,000 pre-built answers and expanded support for Release 12; new NoetixViews products for Oracle U.S. Federal Financials, Oracle Quality, and Oracle Service Contracts; new global extension views for Oracle Benefits and Oracle Payroll; and new NoetixViews for PeopleSoft Enterprise Payroll for North America.

Additional important innovations included Noetix Platform 5.6 with increased support for different client and server configurations, specifically 64-bit versions of supported Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Windows Server 2008, and VMware-based servers; Noetix Generator 1.1 for Oracle BI, offering improved operation in large implementations; Noetix Generator 2.0 for Business Objects, with support for NoetixAnswers, a set of pre-built, configuration-specific reports based on NoetixViews, designed to answer hundreds of common business questions; and Noetix Generator 2.1 for Cognos, with support for Cognos 8 version 4.
Over the last three to six months, customers have frequently expressed a need from a BI perspective to deliver some quick wins to their end-user community, notes Langston. He adds that the second thing they want most is to leverage their existing investments. "That falls right into our sweet spot," says Langston. For more information, go here.
