Precise, a provider of transaction performance management solutions, has announced a remote VPN-based service offering designed to manage customers' application performance. Precise Managed Service Provider (MSP) includes monitoring by the vendor's experts to manage Quality of Service, isolate transaction performance problems, and guide resolution.

Precise's Transaction Performance Management (TPM) software, along with customer data, remains on internal servers at the customer site. Precise monitors on-premises applications as well as cloud applications, Zohar Gilad, executive vice president of Precise, tells 5 Minute Briefing. "Precise tracks transactions, isolates applications problems and guides resolution for applications running on cloud, virtual, physical and hybrid infrastructure," he explains. "That includes applications running in hybrid cloud environments, which include private and burst capacity public cloud."

Precise TPM delivers transaction transparency, isolates transaction performance problems, and guides resolution to over 1,100 customers worldwide. Major packaged applications covered include Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, and Siebel, and others, as well as custom applications (J2EE, .NET), middleware, databases and storage devices.
