Even IT Security Professionals Profess 'Password Fatigue'
Posted Jul 1, 2009 - July 1, 2009 Issue Print Version     Page 1of 1

Password security is one of the simplest ways to tighten up corporate networks. Yet, a recent industry survey finds even the most security-aware professionals admit laxity when it comes to security on their personal computing devices. Many phones and smartphones include data such as business emails and passwords. The survey also found that a third of IT professionals use their own personal mobile phone for work purposes even though the company specifically bans them for business use.
