Who to See at Collaborate 16: VMware

VMware vSphere is increasingly becoming the platform of choice for companies seeking efficiency and effectiveness from the platform that they chose to run their critical applications and databases. vSphere 6 brings a broad array of capabilities that both enhance and compliment the Oracle database in all forms. The original “Empowered Database Survey” conducted by DBTA in 2014 focused on the IOUG. An update of that survey is presently underway. The survey revealed the accelerating adoption rate of vSphere as the platform of choice for a broad range of Oracle implementations. The survey data inspired the IOUG to start the VMware Special Interest Group which is open to all Oracle and VMware users.
