New Release: Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g 11.1.1.4.0 - Where to Download? How to Get Started?
Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g 11.1.1.4.0 has been released to Oracle Technology Network (OTN), My Oracle Support (MOS), and Oracle eDelivery.
Oracle is pleased to announce a new document to help you get started downloading, installing, and configuring your Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g software:

We hope you find this document beneficial as a new starting point and introduction to Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g 11.1.1.4.0 products. This has been internally referred to as the "Master Readme". It has a ring to it, the master of all readmes, a must read.
There are many different product offerings with Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g 11.1.1.4.0. How to approach a new installation or update a current installation would depend on the product(s) being used. This can be confusing, especially with previous release differences, different product requirements, and different download locations. In a collaborated effort between Oracle Support, Development, Product Management and the Documentation team...the Master Readme was created.
The Master Readme will help address questions like:
. Where can I download the 11.1.1.4.0 software?
. What patch number do I nee! d to upgrade my existing 11.1.1.2 installs?
. What is the difference between a full installer and an update installer?
. What is the path to get from 11.1.1.2 to 11.1.1.4?
