Open Virtualization Alliance Gains Momentum

The Open Virtualization Alliance, which was announced in May by technology leaders IBM, Red Hat, SUSE, BMC Software, Eucalyptus Systems, HP, and Intel, continues to gain momentum, with over 100 member companies already signed up. Its goal of fostering growth for KVM is key to driving new opportunities for IBM software and systems with Linux. This growth can be reflected upon through a presentation, "KVM - An open x86 Virtualization Solution for Linux and Beyond" delivered in July as part of the "Foundations for Growth and Innovation" track at Tivoli PULSE in Australia.
