Entrinsik, a provider of web-based operational reporting and analysis solutions, recently announced that its first-ever Informer User Conference will be held in Wrightsville Beach, NC, October 11-12.

Informer is a powerful web-based reporting and analysis solution that provides technical, business, and front-line users with real-time access to information from multiple systems, platforms, or locations.  It is used by hundreds of organizations worldwide, and Entrinsik anticipates users from higher education, insurance and other industries across the country will attend to share ideas, participate in presentations and exchange best practices related to using Informer.

The Informer User Conference will include breakout sessions with members of the Informer product development team, panel discussions on best practices and methodologies, one-on-one product training and networking with Informer users from other organizations. Conference attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to enhance their Informer knowledge and learn about all of the exciting developments that Entrinsik has planned for Informer.

"We've very excited about the opportunity to support our customers in best leveraging Informer to address some of the key issues that confront organizations looking to improve processes and increase efficiencies in today's economy," states Doug Leupen, CEO and president at Entrinsik. "This conference is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to the success of our customers, and the content will be dominated by topics suggested by our Informer user community."

Classes will be conducted by members of Informer's product development team, including Brad Leupen, CTO, and Andrew Morovati, Informer product manager.

Separately, Entrinsik announced an agreement with AVATECH, a provider of IT solutions for the industrial, governmental and educational sectors, for the distribution of Entrinsik's Informer Web Reporting software in Europe.  AVATECH was selected to join the Informer Partner Network based on their proven track record of distributing leading edge software and service products. Additional factors include AVATECH's ability to make an immediate impact in the marketplace, as well as their reputation for high quality service and support. By partnering with Entrinsik, businesses that rely on AVATECH solutions to run their business now have a single point of access to reports where they can query any data source, regardless of where it is stored, in real time; and self-service report customization and ad hoc analysis capabilities for end users ensure the information is presented based on individual needs.

In other company news, Tim Nicholson has been named director of Informer customer services, responsible for the overall user experience.

Registration for the Informer conference will be available shortly. Entrinsik is soliciting presentations by Informer users for the conference.  The deadline for submissions is June 30. To submit an abstract, email Sharon Shelton.
