IBM’s U2 Group Prepares for U2 University 2009

Plans are underway now for the U2 University 2009, the premier U2 technical event for IT executives, managers, professionals, DBAs, developers and business partners.

The conference is geared towards helping customers better understand IBM's U2 products' new and upcoming features to help reduce costs and enhance overall revenues. The conference will be held three times throughout the fall-in Denver, Colo., from September 16 through September 18; in Liverpool, UK, from October 13 through October 15; and in Sydney, Australia, November 17 through November 19.

This year's conference will include more than 30 brand-new sessions covering the latest U2 products and features, as well as provide a sneak peak at what the future holds for each product in the U2 portfolio. There will be sessions allowing attendees of every level from new user to expert to expand their skills, as well as complimentary certification exams, with the opportunity to take up to three exams at no charge.

In particular, the conference will help customers learn about some of the key standards such as FIPS 140-2 and PCI DSS, and how U2 functionality can help reduce compliance costs, avoid penalties or eliminate business stoppages, and reduce dependence on third-party solutions.

Customer case studies highlighting real-world results using XMAL, SBXA and .NET will also be featured to showcase how modernizing an application's look and feel, can increase sales and impress prospects. Attendees will learn how add new functionality to an application at low coast, by integrating with Windows software and with devices like credit card readers and bar code scanners, as well as how to diagnose system problems quickly and inexpensively. Early bird registration discounts are now available.
