Kore Technologies has formed a new partnership with Demand Management, Inc. (DMI) to resell its suite of industry leading demand planning products. Demand Solutions provides software for the full spectrum of supply chain management - including forecasting, sales and operations planning (S&OP), collaboration, inventory optimization and replenishment, advanced planning and scheduling, and retail planning.

The new relationship will enable Kore, to expand its business by reselling and supporting DMI's best-in-class inventory optimization products. Kore will be able to leverage the company's years of experience in the manufacturing and distribution industry and its Kourier Integrator integration technology to implement and integrate DMI's Demand Solutions products,

"This is actually part of the reason that Dave Roper joined the company as vice president of sales. Dave brought the relationship with DMI into Kore." Ken Dickinson, managing partner and co-founder of Kore, tells DBTA.

"Kore has always been an integration company focusing on affordable, easy to use solutions that can be quickly implemented. We help companies get the most out of their applications and deliver fast ROI. In today's economic climate, a lot of companies are trying to run lean, conserve cash, and be as optimized as possible," notes Dickinson. Demand Solutions' suite of applications is important for helping companies to manage their inventory levels, cut costs and improve customer service levels, he explains. "If they forecast too much or lack good planning tools, they have high carrying costs; if they don't forecast enough inventory, then they are potentially losing sales. We feel that it is a vital first step to running a business efficiently. We can integrate the DMI solutions to any ERP system." Regardless of the ERP/distribution software a company is using, there is often a need for improvement in an area where a DMI Solution can help such as sales forecasting, distribution requirement planning, sales and operations planning, and production scheduling, Dickinson observes.

Demand Solutions software helps small and midsize enterprises (SMEs) as well as major divisions of Fortune 500 corporations reach their planning goals. The company has been around since 1985, it is a global organization, with over 2,000 customers, adds Roper. "If you look at the makeup of Kore's customer base, it is very manufacturing and distribution-oriented so it was natural for Kore to look for value-based software products that really help companies achieve results. It is a perfect fit in terms of what the Kore customer base is and in terms of Kore's knowledge and expertise. In addition, Demand Solutions has a very substantial list of clients and we inherited a lot of those clients as part of the relationship here in the West."

"Our research indicated that Demand Solutions has the very best product suite available to offer our clients and offers a very high return on investment value proposition," adds Keith Lambert, vice president, marketing and business development, Kore Technologies. "We have been building Kore's reputation as a price and service provider in the MultiValue space primarily with integration solutions, and e-commerce solutions. We now want companies to look at us for best-in-class integration for the new DMI product that spans multiple databases, not just MultiValue. We are opening up the door to new opportunities for business growth, as well."
