Kore Technologies is rolling out enhanced features in its next release of KommerceServer eCommerce Suite. The suite will add significant out-of-the-box functionality for business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce environments.
The KommerceServer eCommerce Suite contains the webStoreFront, webPortal, webAdminstration and Mobile Editions. “We are committed to making enhancements to KommerceServer that ensure our customers’ success on the web,” said Ken Dickinson, Kore Technologies co-founder and managing partner. The new features will be a good method for users to promote their website and encourage repeat business from customers, he added.
Updates in the upcoming 5.4 release focused on helping to improve company-to-customer relations include:
- Web coupons for select customers with a choice of free giveaway, discount for specific product, or discount for the entire order when defined parameters are met
- The ability to set-up delivery zones for internal truck fleet and calculate freight cost based on weight or dollar amount in the cart
- Customer loyalty programs by generating leads for key affiliates
