Progennix and Entrinsik Partner To Provide Reporting Capabilities to Public Housing Authorities

Progenixx Inc., developer of software for public housing authorities (PHAs) and Entrinsik Inc., an industry leader in developing reporting solutions for the IBM U2 family of database products have formed a partnership to provide Progenixx customers with Informer Web Reporting, a web-based reporting solution enabling agencies to access information anytime and anywhere. Informer pulls data from UniVerse or UniData databases natively, maintaining the integrity of the MultiValue schema.

"In the MultiValue world, the UniData/UniVerse world specifically, all these software companies, very much like ourselves, have developed vertical applications that satisfy all the business requirements-ERP if you will-for a particular industry," Doug Leupen, president of Entrinsik, tells DBTA. "In Progenixx's case, they had developed awhile ago an ERP system for public housing, and now they are going back at it with a brand-new version," he notes.

By partnering with Entrinsik, Progenixx provides its customers with an easy-to-use, intuitive interface to extract and share information across the organization in real time, allowing not only intra-company personnel to access pertinent data, but also remote workers, business associates, and customers while still offering the flexibility, accessibility, and security PHA reports require.

"We researched other organizations offering reporting tools for UniVerse and UniData databases and identified the clear leader within the space was Informer," says Greg Clarke, director of technical services at Progenixx.

"We are excited to have Progenixx as a partner," states Leupen. "We share Progenixx's commitment to delivering superior functionality and innovative technology to streamline and simplify the day-to-day operations of public housing authorities across the country."

There are already two customers up and running with the Progenixx solution with Informer Web Reporting, Leupen notes. The San Francisco Housing Authority and the Oklahoma City Housing Authority have already made the purchase and are "getting fantastic results."
