Certified Security Solutions Partners with SAP to Provide IoT Solutions

Certified Security Solutions (CSS) Inc., a provider of secure digital identity and access solutions, will partner with SAP to provide a platform for the Internet of Things.

The partnership integrates CSS’ large-scale public key infrastructure (PKI)-based certificate management security solution with SAP HANA Cloud Platform for the Internet of Things.

Organizations will be able to use CSS' Verdetto IoT Identity Platform together with SAP HANA Cloud Platform for the Internet of Things.

This partnership will give enterprises a secure and scalable cloud-based solution that creates and manages digital identities for device authentication, data encryption, and secure communication, according to CSS.

"We see identity as a fundamental piece of the security puzzle,” said Ted Shorter, CTO at CSS. “Our solution empowers companies to use digital certificates to validate the connections between devices to verify that the information generated is legitimate.”

The Verdetto IoT Identity Platform assumes an identity for each device via Identity V-Tag technology. When each device is uniquely tagged data communication from can be properly identified and validated, ensuring that business applications and processes are working with legitimate data from authentic sources.

CSS also plans to collaborate with azeti Networks AG, Check Point Software, and Intel, with a goal of helping to provide customers with end-to-end secure IoT solutions.
