Asigra, provider of a cloud backup, recovery, and restore software provider since 1986, has introduced the Asigra Cloud OpEX Backup Appliance.
In partnership with Zadara, the new backup solution combines Asigra Cloud Backup V14 software with the Zadara Cloud Storage Platform.
The Asigra Cloud OpEx Backup Appliance is a virtual backup solution that integrates Asigra Cloud Backup with the Zadara software-defined cloud storage platform available as a consumption-based service. The solution can be deployed on-premise, at a colocation facility, or in the public cloud, and converges data protection and cybersecurity to counter malware attacks on backup data, including ransomware attack-loops.
The Zadara Cloud Platform uses a combination of industry-standard hardware and patented Zadara software to create a virtualized data storage resource abstraction layer with enterprise functionality and cloud convenience. The solution allows administrators to work with any data type or protocol across multi-location distributed IT environments.
