OAUG Announces Educational and Networking Opportunities for Oracle OpenWorld 2011

The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) has announced its program of hosted meetings and educational sessions at the upcoming Oracle OpenWorld 2011 conference Oct. 2–6 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.  Throughout the week of the event, OAUG members will facilitate more than 30 educational sessions addressing the training and professional development needs of Oracle Applications users.

“The OAUG’s activities at Oracle OpenWorld center around our primary objectives of delivering relevant education, facilitating powerful networking and empowering influential dialogue with Oracle leadership,” says Mark Clark, president of the OAUG.

This year, on User Group Sunday, Oct. 2, which is predominantly dedicated to supporting networking and education among Oracle users who share similar interests or those within a certain geographic region, the OAUG will host more than 55 special interest group (SIG) and geographic (Geo) meetings, providing an opportunity for peers to learn about their own niche within the Oracle community and network with other applications users.

On Monday, Oct. 3, the recently launched OAUG Executive Roundtable will meet to share experiences and discuss best practices involving the many different issues they face as corporate executives and managers of Oracle Applications.

Attendees are encouraged to visit the OAUG in the Users Groups Pavilion in Moscone Center West, Level Two, to speak with elected leaders and OAUG member volunteers about some of the programs and resources they leverage in their organizations.
