Oracle is acquiring LogFire, a provider of cloud-based warehouse management applications for integrated warehouse, inventory and workforce management.
Increasingly, says Oracle, supply chain organizations under pressure to capitalize on trends such as omni-channel fulfillment, integrated logistics, and dynamic sourcing, while simultaneously increasing efficiency and reducing costs
The pending addition of LogFire Cloud is expected to complement the logistics functionality of the Oracle Supply Chain Management product suite by adding cloud-based warehouse management capabilities. Oracle also said it is currently reviewing the existing LogFire product roadmap and will be providing guidance to customers.
