Oracle Enables Broader Adoption of Enterprise Performance Management Applications with New Mobile Capabilities


At COLLABORATE 14 in Las Vegas, Oracle announced the release of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System 11.1.2.3.5, with two new mobile capabilities designed to help organizations expand their use of enterprise planning, reporting and financial close applications.

The first is a new mobile app called Oracle EPM Mobile that allows managers and executives to participate in EPM workflows and approvals from smartphones and tablets. TheEPM Mobile app is designed to broaden executive participation and accelerate review and approval processes by providing users with easy access to EPM related workflows on smart phones and tablets.

The second capability provides business users with easy access to the functionality of Hyperion Planning from tablet devices. Oracle Hyperion Planning now allows business users to perform common planning, budgeting and forecasting tasks from iPad and Android tablets.The new capability delivers a fully-functional browser based experience for all commonly used Oracle Hyperion Planning features, including accessing task lists, approving budgets, viewing reports, entering data and running planning scenarios.

Oracle EPM System can be delivered on-premise, via the cloud, or on Oracle Engineered Systems.
