A new database-as-a-service  (DBaaS) offering from Pick Cloud and Ladybridge Systems enables customers to purchase a fully managed hosted OpenQM license. The base configuration includes 1 vCPU, 4GB memory, up to 60 GB storage, a fully functioning OpenQM license, an AccuTerm 7 license, HP Proliant servers powered with Intel multi-core processors, and 99.999% uptime, with the ability to add more vCPUs, memory, disks and storage. Additional line items include, secure cloud printing, device licensing, data replication and full standby systems.

“Pick Cloud, Inc. and Ladybridge Systems are delivering a true MultiValue DBaaS. To date, that hasn’t been a reality. It is now. Now they can focus on their business, not their IT," said Mark Pick, CEO and founder of Pick Cloud. Developers, VARs and end users alike can benefit from a low cost alternative to costly per seat database license pricing, while at the same time taking advantage of a worry-free environment, he noted.
