Remote DBA Company Datavail Forms Partnerships with SlamData and ClearDB

Datavail, a provider of data management and managed database services, has announced new partnerships with SlamData and ClearDB.

SlamData and Datavail are partnering on a next generation enterprise analytics solution for MongoDB, providing clients with access to analytics for MongoDB, which will be followed soon other NoSQL platforms.

SlamData Inc. is a commercial developer of the SlamData open source project,  which provides native NoSQL analytics support for complex modern data.

According to Chuck Ezell, Datavail’s vice president and practice leader for development, tuning and automation, with SlamData’s native NoSQL analytics solution, Datavail will be able to bring faster and more accurate insights to customers.

The Datavail partnership with ClearDB, a provider of enterprise cloud database technologies, will enable ClearDB to combine its database as a service (DBaaS) and cloud capabilities with Datavail’s remote monitoring, customer support and DBA services to provide an end-to-end solution for  SMBs, large enterprise customers, and channel partners.

According to the vendors, as data growth continues to accelerate, the demand for talented DBAs is rising sharply while the availability of DBAs is shrinking. The joint ClearDB and Datavail approach is aimed at providing highly available database services combined in an affordable solution. As part of the partnership, Datavail will provide a comprehensive set of database administration services providing customers simple access to a fully managed cloud database.
