Trillium Software System Integrates with Microsoft Dynamics CRM to Improve Data Quality

Trillium Software has formed an alliance with Microsoft to provide integration between the Trillium Software System data quality solution and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 customer relationship management (CRM) software.  As a result, Microsoft Dynamics CRM users who choose to leverage integrated Trillium Software data quality services can ensure that global customer data is accurate and fit-for purpose, whether using on-premises or cloud deployment models (utilizing the Windows Azure platform).

"The goal of the CRM system is to provide a unique accurate 360-degree view of who your customers are and what products and services they may acquire from your organization. And, if that is the goal of the CRM system, the data quality component of that is really the accuracy component  that allows you to say that you may have a different representation of your customers depending on how you go to market," Len Dubois, senior vice president of marketing,  tells 5 Minute Briefing.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM provides an SDK that allows for seamless access to Trillium Software enterprise services for cleansing and matching capabilities.  Integration between the two products will also ensure continuous data lifecycle management for a wide variety of applications.  Data will be evaluated and cleansed at the point of data entry, ensuring it is more accurate and therefore, more valuable earlier in its lifecycle.  Access to Trillium Software cleansing and matching functionality can occur via a data quality services call from Microsoft Dynamics CRM to the Trillium Software System in Windows Azure or any on-premises implementation.

"Microsoft is well known for their user experience and Microsoft Dynamics CRM offers a very  intuitive and easy-to-use user experience for its customers and the easier a product is to use the more often the sales organization is going to utilize it for their way of doing business," says Dubois. "Many sales organizations use Outlook for managing their customer relationships and Outlook integrates seamlessly within Microsoft Dynamics and of course our Trillium Software System is the data quality component that underlies that and it is all one seamless integration. That is very unique in the marketplace today."
