FalconStor Software, Inc., a data migration vendor, and X-IO Technologies, an enterprise storage provider, announced they have signed a reseller agreement for X-IO to package and sell FalconStor Network Storage Server (NSS). By combining X-IO’s Intelligent Storage Element (ISE) solutions with FalconStor NSS, customers will have access to a flash-enabled storage solution that includes a suite of data protection and DR solutions.
The reseller agreement makes FalconStor a key storage virtualization provider for X-IO. The two solutions can now be purchased as a package with X-IO’s standard five-year warranty and backed by five years of support and service from FalconStor, including major version upgrades to the software.
“Combining X-IO with FalconStor offers scalability with many options for high-performance and capacity combinations for customers and resellers globally,” said Dave Ornstein, VP of sales at X-IO. “As part of the agreement X-IO will be offering the NSS software to its customers and providing installation plus first call support. The bundled solution will also include our five-year warranty, which ensures low cost zero touch as standard.”
