Recent industry research finds that nine out of 10 data center operators are maintaining or increasing their data center facility spending, with 25% expecting to increase spending over the next 90 days. Most of this spending goes to rack and cabling, power equipment and data center infrastructure management software. There are also continuing efforts to consolidate data centers with most organizations expecting to close many of their smaller local data centers and server rooms over the next 24 months.
