IBM: Looking for a Few Good Members of 'Generation z'

IBM has commenced its sixth annual "Master the Mainframe" competition, which is intended to raise awareness among college and university students about mainframe applications. The contest is designed for students with little or no mainframe experience, increasing with difficulty as the contest progresses. All students who successfully complete Part 2 of this year's contest will receive an invitation to upload their resumes to the IBM Student Opportunity System. The contest runs from this week until the 28th of December. Both IBM and SHARE have been focusing on increasing interest among young people in mainframe careers, at a critical time when these skills will be in short supply and high demand.
