Collaboration is Key to Success – Find It at COLLABORATE 15 OAUG Forum in Las Vegas!

COLLABORATE 15 – Technology and Applications Forum for the Oracle Community (hashtag #C15LV) is back in Las Vegas April 12-16, 2015 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, offering a wide variety of education and valuable opportunities for collaboration among peers. The more than 1250 planned education sessions in 17 tracks were sourced through the user communities of IOUG, OAUG and Quest and selected through a competitive process. The result is an agenda packed with relevant insights for functional as well as technical users, beginner to advanced.

Access to Oracle’s product teams a popular feature of COLLABORATE and in 2015 there are more access points than ever. Not one, but two, general sessions feature top executives sharing big-picture developments meaningful to customers (we must keep you in suspense; watch collaborate.oaug.org for the announcement in the coming days!). The OAUG offers 13 Meet the Oracle Experts sessions on E-Business Suite, intimate and highly interactive conversations with product leaders. In addition, there are over a dozen roadmap sessions, eight proactive support sessions and the Oracle DEMOgrounds in the Exhibitor Showcase. In the Oracle User Experience Usability Lab, attendees test future releases and ultimately influence product designs.

E-Business Suite remains the topic most in demand and over 270 sessions explore strategy, upgrades and more. With many organizations strategizing to move their Oracle environments to the cloud, a cloud computing track comprising more than 90 sessions feeds their interests.

The Hyperion user community is growing by leaps and bounds. These users are welcomed under the “Hyperion Connect” umbrella, which brings together content (65+ sessions) and networking. A Hyperion Connect Reception and a special interest group meeting allow this fast-growing group to forge connections and share best practices.

Another growing community, Primavera users, will also find enhanced content for their benefit: more than 65 sessions, a keynote and a roadmap session. Oracle Customer Support is offering a free One-on-One Primavera Support Clinic, meeting by appointment with customers to answer questions about CM / Unifier, Instantis Applications, P6 Applications and P6 Technical.

The OAUG, in response to attendee requests for additional ways to network and share information, introduces new learning formats for COLLABORATE 15. Six “Power Hour” sessions include small-group discussion to encourage collaboration. Two “Exploration Series” programs follow Allocations and Cross Charges and eBTAX across successive sessions in order to cover larger bodies of knowledge.
