Compuware has introduced enhancements to Topaz, its mainframe DevOps solution for empowering next-gen developers to bring modern development best practices and third-party tools-of-choice to the mainframe. With these enhancements, the company says, organizations can more quickly get new developers up-to-speed and build seamless mainframe-inclusive DevOps pipelines. 

IBM has unveiled IBM Q System One. Describing the Q System One as the world's first integrated universal approximate quantum computing system designed for scientific and commercial use, IBM also announced plans to open its first IBM Q Quantum Computation Center for commercial clients in Poughkeepsie, NY, in 2019.


Think About It

For the 26th year, IBM is the top recipient of U.S. patents, with a record 9,100, including more than 3,000 patents related to work in artificial intelligence, cloud, and quantum computing in 2018, according to IFI CLAIMS Patent Services.
