InterSystems has announced the InterSystems IRIS Data Platform, a new data platform that aims to provide capabilities for rapidly developing data-intensive and mission-critical applications, including advanced data management, interoperability, transaction processing, and analytics. IRIS stands for Interoperable, Reliable, Intuitive and Scalable - four attributes that InterSystems says are required to capitalize on the growing volumes of data entering organizations every day.

Redgate Software is releasing a new version of SQL Toolbelt, its portfolio of database development software, that will let developers and administrators see database deployment errors. This portfolio addresses a long standing issue that, when database deployments are made, it is vital to monitor their impact in case they lead to SQL Server problems. In many busy organizations, however, it may not be immediately obvious that a deployment has been made, or that the deployment is the cause of resultant issues that arise.

Munbo Software has launched a new application development platform to ease the pain of developers working with complex multi-tiered architectures. Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, Munbo was founded in 2010 by Angelo Doukas and Stephen Gregan, and has been developing the platform for the past 7 years.

Veriflow has introduced updates to its Continuous Network Verification platform that help enterprises, government agencies, and service providers to reduce downtime and improve protection by eliminating outages and vulnerabilities in the network. Emerging from stealth  in April 2016, and with $8.2 million in series A funding raised in June 2016, Veriflow has pioneered the application of "mathematical network verification."
