Appsian Security, a global provider of ERP data security and compliance software, has announced the acquisition of Q Software, a compliance software provider for JD Edwards, Oracle E-Business Suite, and Oracle ERP Cloud. The acquisition provides a strategic opportunity for Appsian Security and Q Software to expand their current capabilities while delivering additional value to their existing customers.
Datavail has acquired Skybridge Global, an Atlanta-based Oracle consultancy with expertise in Oracle ERP/CX cloud implementations and support across Oracle's ERP, HCM, SCM and Oracle Cloud CX Suite business applications. "Skybridge and Datavail have long partnered to work with our clients," said Scott Frock, Datavail's CEO. "This official integration strengthens our ability to better offer a full suite of services to our Oracle applications clients and create new ways to deliver sustainable value with a deep understanding of client needs and market challenges to ease their transformational journey into Oracle SaaS-based applications."
Once data has been created, it gets moved around to support many different purposes. There are many techniques that can be used to facilitate data movement. One of the simplest ways for the DBA to move data from one place to another is to use the LOAD and UNLOAD utilities that come with the DBMS. The LOAD utility is used to populate tables with new data (or to add to existing data), and the UNLOAD utility is used to read data from a table and put it into a data file. Each DBMS may call the actual utilities by different names, but the functionality is the same or similar from product to product.

In the rush to bring AI and data solutions to bear, don't guess and don't just ask, "Why?"; also ask, "Why not?" Consider why this application might not be a good idea, may not lead to our intended outcome, might not be well-received, and might not safeguard human dignity and liberties.
