Revelation Software Gears Up for 2016 User Conference

Revelation will be hosting its user conference from April 18 through April 21, at the Omni Orlando Resort at Championsgate in Orlando, Florida. “We always want to choose a popular vacation destination to do our conferences. Orlando is a great convention city. We even moved our conference schedule up by a day, so that gives everyone an extra day on the weekend to take in the Orlando sights,” noted Robert Catalano, director of sales with Revelation Software.

One of the highlights of the conference for attendees is the “network reception” that Revelation hosts. The network reception is designed so all of the attendees can bring their laptops and discuss with their colleagues and Revelation staff how they are using OpenInsight, and collaborate or resolve any issues they may be having. “We felt it was nicer in a free, open atmosphere to communicate with each other about what they are doing with our software. You find so much electricity in the room when people get to do that,” said Catalano.

The biggest question concerning OpenInsight 10 has been the launch date. “Almost,” answered Catalano in response to the question of when OpenInsight 10 will be ready. “We’ve taken on a mammoth undertaking with this rewrite, We have rewritten the whole product.”

Catalano commented on the difficulty of MultiValue being able to address the younger audience of developers that are just leaving college, and observed that he hopes the interface of OpenInsight 10 will address this issue. Many of the presentations will cover new features and additions for OpenInsight 10. The event will also provide the opportunity forbusiness discussions about how the product can be applied.
