IBM has made additions to the IBM Cloud Object Storage family, and is offering clients new choices for archival data and a new pricing model to more easily apply intelligence to unpredictable data patterns using analytics and cognitive tools. IBM also announced an expanded partnership with NetApp that provides NetApp customers with more ways to take advantage of IBM Cloud.

SAP is making enhancements to its cloud platform, allowing users to take it on the go and adding comprehensive new business services to the solution. SAP plans to deliver an SAP Cloud Platform SDK for iOS, giving developers the tools needed to build powerful enterprise apps for iPhone and iPad devices.

Splunk and New Relic are forming a strategic alliance and introducing a new integration to help enterprises improve customer experiences. The Splunk App for New Relic gives developers and IT operations teams a comprehensive view into both application performance and infrastructure health by sharing data across both Splunk and New Relic platforms.
