Composite Software has added access to RainStor's Big Data management database, expanding the list of popular enterprise applications it now supports, including Oracle, SAP, and salesforce.com, as well as relational and multi-dimensional data sources from IBM, IBM Netezza, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP BW, SAP Sybase and Teradata.

Melissa Data Corp., a developer of high performance data quality and address management solutions, has announced a corporate initiative evolving its solutions structure. The company is forming two distinct business divisions - the Data Quality division, which will include developer tools and enterprise plug-ins dedicated to helping customers clean and maintain high quality U.S., Canadian, and international contact data; and the Mailers Software division, which will focus on the needs of the direct marketer, with an emphasis on the company's flagship MAILERS+4 bulk mail software, mailing lists and sales leads, change-of-address processing, and data appending services.

Simba Technologies Inc., a provider of data connectivity solutions, has released SimbaEngine ODBC SDK 9, a toolkit used by software companies to implement ODBC, JDBC, ADO.NET and OLE DB data connectivity within existing BI, analytics and database products. This latest release introduces key new features, including greater customizability, nine new data driver implementations, faster data access and information retrieval, and support for big data and cloud database platforms.
