IBM announced it's extending the data-resilience capabilities of existing IBM data protection products and introducing new workload-specific solutions for SAP HANA and Salesforce. The IBM Safeguarded Copy capability, which currently enables IBM FlashSystem and IBM DS8000 clients to create cyber-resilient immutable snapshots, is now available to clients running IBM's Spectrum Scale high-performance global data platform, bringing logical air-gapping to unstructured data sets.
