Informatica Corporation, a provider of data integration software, has acquired Siperian, a vendor in the master data management (MDM) infrastructure technology category. Informatica will acquire Siperian, on a fully diluted basis, for approximately $130 million in cash.

Mark Logic Corporation, a provider of information infrastructure software, announced that its latest line of software will be available from the cloud, through Amazon Web Services. The first such offering of MarkLogic Cloud Services is MarkLogic Server for EC2, which enables customers to use MarkLogic on a pay-by-the-hour basis on Amazon EC2, the popular elastic computing cloud platform. MarkLogic Server also supports the development of private clouds via VMware.

Netezza Corporation, a provider of data warehouse and analytic appliances, announced it has begin shipping a data warehouse appliance with a compact footprint that can power development groups and data marts or serve as a platform for application appliances.

Syncordant, a data integration company, has announced the release of its new enterprise-class product, the Data Integrator. The new product enables a single, real-time, customizable view into multiple heterogeneous databases distributed anywhere in the world.
