Upon completion of the $1.26 billion transaction, Syncsort and Vision will be combined, creating what Centerbridge calls a "big iron to big data" platform investment controlled by Centerbridge, and operating under the Syncsort name.

Emerging from stealth mode this week, Aparna Systems announced the Orca µCloud and Orca µServer—providing an open software Cloud-in-a-Box solution. Sumo Logic has raised a total of $235 million in funding over 7 years.
