The "super fridge," known as Project Goldeneye, can cool 1.7 cubic meters of volume—up from around 0.7 meters on current large fridges. In previous columns, we've noted that the SQL language is in the ascendant. Without pre-determined, negotiated service level agreements in place, database and application performance can become a never-ending game of blind man's bluff, where DBAs blindly and constantly seek an unspoken goal.
