IBM announced it is rolling out IBM watsonx—the enterprise-ready AI and data platform. watsonx comprises three products to help organizations accelerate and scale AI—the watsonx.ai studio for new foundation models, generative AI and machine learning (now available); the watsonx.data fit-for-purpose data store, built on an open lakehouse architecture (now available); and the watsonx.governance toolkit to help enable AI workflows to be built with responsibility, transparency and explainability (coming later this year).

The Series B funding round was led by Lightspeed, with participation from existing investors including MassMutual Ventures, Endiya Partners, and Kalaari Capital. The company has now raised $32 million in total venture funding since 2020.
