Replacing the manual aspects of day-to-day finance with automation is a core focus at SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Centerbridge Partners, L.P., a private investment firm, has completed the $1.26 billion acquisition of enterprise software providers Syncsort Incorporated and Vision Solutions, Inc. from affiliates of Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. Headquartered in Pearl River, NY, the new company benefits from a dramatic increase in global presence, as well as significantly expanded product offerings, afforded by the combination.

Barracuda Networks, a provider of cloud-enabled security and data protection solutions, has added the ability to replicate data from either an on-premises physical or virtual backup appliance to AWS. The new feature provides customers, resellers, and MSPs with greater flexibility and choice to protect their data from data loss and potential disasters, including security threats like ransomware. The unending stream of bad news about data breaches shows no sign of abating, with a raft of breaches far and wide involving organizations such as health insurance companies, businesses, government agencies, and the military. The average consolidated cost of a data breach grew to $4 million in 2016, while the average cost for each lost or stolen record containing sensitive and confidential information reached $158, according to IBM's 2016 annual cost of a data breach study.
