However, at the same time, enterprise data environments are becoming more complex and costly, running on many platforms, supporting many applications, and handling growing volumes of data. Oracle made two new announcements around NoSQL. It is extending Oracle Enterprise Manager capabilities to MySQL databases. With this new offering, customers can manage complex deployments of Oracle technologies that include MySQL, either on-premise or in a cloud.
